Test anxiety can be a serious problem for students of all ages. Butterflies in your stomach, tense muscles, beating heart ear and, worst of all, the feeling of all the information you studied so hard to understand and remember starting to disappear from your mind.

When I was in school, anxiety test were rife. Many of my classmates were terrified given a quiz or test. In all honesty, some of them acted as if they were about to stand before a firing squad. This test takes effect can have on many people and the real tragedy, in my opinion, is that many of these students know the material and could do well if they could escape the death grip of fear on them.

I used to suffer from anxiety test myself. Over a period of years, however, I started to change my views on the importance of these tests and has achieved a point where I can say I almost never felt anxious about taking a test.

How can you change your perspective and feel less stressed for this quiz midterm, final or weekly? Let us look at the underlying cause of your anxiety. More than likely, you were told certain things about testing course when you were young. Maybe your parents to focus on getting good grades or if you were really worried fail and having to repeat a class or a whole note. You may be or have been, or a perfectionist perfectionist and thought that you had to get an A on everything, or you may have struggled to understand a particular topic. Regardless of what the origins are, they are now part of Henry Ford said: "Whether you think you can or can not, you reason. The thoughts and beliefs you have about testing lay the groundwork for what you expect your performance to be. This means that if you have a belief like "I'm just not good about this" locked in your subconscious, you will naturally act to follow this belief. If you do not think you are good at something than you be. As you can see, these beliefs really limit what you can do and experience.

To reduce or eliminate your anxiety test, you must neutralize the limiting beliefs you carry with you. A very good way is to use hypnosis can "reprogram" the subconscious through regular use. However, Acupressure (applying pressure to certain electrically suitable points on the body) technique known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has been proved very effective in reducing stress and anxiety in a wide variety of situations and is often much faster than hypnosis. Through the use of EFT, students can easily reduce or, in many cases even eliminate their anxiety test in minutes. This method has been clinically studied and shown to be effective. Following is some research that has been made:

"Psychologists Sharon Jones and Dr Henry B Andrews University Curtin (Jones and Andrews, 2001) studied EFT (control vs. waiting list) anxiety public speaking sessions of treatment of 45 minutes conducted by psychologists at the counseling center at the University. The authors found significant improvement self-report (Spielberger STAI) and subjective levels of anxiety for the treatment of EFT. In monitoring of treatment results EFT throughout the session, they found that subjective anxiety was significantly reduced after only 15 minutes of EFT treatment and continued to decrease at Throughout the treatment session. Sharon Jones and Henry B. Andrews, "The effectiveness of the emotional freedom technique in reducing anxiety Public speaking: An exploratory study. "Paper presented at a meeting of the Australian branch of the Western College of Counseling Psychologists, March 2001.

"Joaquin Andrade, MD and David Feinstein PhD report on a large scale study on Energy Psychology (including EFT). In preliminary clinical trials involving over 29,000 patients from 11 allied treatment centers in South America during a period 14 years, a variety of randomized, double-blind pilot studies were conducted. The largest of the sub-studies, conducted over five and a half period of one year, followed the course of treatment of 5000 patients diagnosed with anxiety disorders. These patients were randomly assigned to an experimental group (images and statements together with the manual stimulation of acupuncture points selected – as EFT and TFT) and a control group (Cognitive Behavior Therapy supplemented with medication if necessary). Half of them received the energy therapy treatments and no medication. Interviews at the end of treatment and follow-up interviews at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months showed that the energy therapy was significantly more effective than CBT / medication protocol in both the proportion of patients showing some improvement and the proportion of patients with remission Comprehensive symptoms:

The results of comparisons with 5000 patients anxious to end of treatment:

CBT / Medication:
Some improvement, 63%
Complete remission-51%
